Indian women cricketer Jhulan Goswami included in MCC World Cricket Committee
The MCC World Cricket Committee (WCC) has announced the induction of three new members, Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, and English players Heather Knight and Eoin Morgan.
At the same time, former England captain Alastair Cook has resigned from the committee to focus on his playing career. With these new members, the WCC now has 14 members, including current and former international cricket players, umpires, and officials worldwide.
Jhulan Goswami
Jhulan Goswami, known for her prowess as a fast bowler in women's cricket, retired from international professional cricket last year. His last match was an ODI against England at Lord's, where he received a guard of honor. Goswami took over 300 wickets in white-ball cricket in 272 matches and 44 wickets in 12 Tests.

The Marylebone Cricket Club, founded in 1787 by ambitious entrepreneur Thomas Lord, is an independent body of current and former international cricketers, umpires, and officials from around the world.
The 14-member committee, headed by former English cricketer Mike Gatting, includes Jamie Cox (Australia), Suzie Bates, Claire Connor, Kumar Dharmasena (Sri Lanka), Sourav Ganguly (India), Justin Langer (Australia), Ramiz Raja (Pakistan), Kumar Sangakkara.
