Sandeep Kumar Gupta becomes the chairman of GAIL, the tenure will be till February 2026

 In October 2022, Sandeep Kumar Gupta has taken over as the Chairman and Managing Director of country's largest gas company, GAIL India. Ltd.

 Gupta was earlier the Director of Finance in Indian Oil V in the year 1984. At present, GAIL India has a 14500 km long natural gas pipeline network. In addition there is 14 metric tons of LNG sourcing annually. The portfolio of the company is huge.
