What is Death Valley?
Death Valley is the hottest and driest place in North America. Its bottom is the lowest. The lowest point at the bottom is 86 meters (282 ft) below sea level. The temperature of this valley reaches up to 49°C. Here there is only rain. Average rainfall in a year is only 5 cm. is approx. There is not even a water mark in the valley. Even if there is water in some places, then in a lot of the valley there is only sand.
Initially, people coming to America had to come only after crossing this valley. Due to its high temperature and dryness, many people died while crossing the valley. Many people who went to explore the gold deposits in the surrounding areas of California also died while crossing this valley. Due to these terrible conditions, the name of this valley came to be Death Valley. When the valley was studied in the year 1870. So the bone structures of thousands of animals and humans were found in it.
In the year 1933, this valley was declared the National Moment of America, every year four to five lakh people visit to see its strangeness.
Although this whole valley is a desert, but still many animals like rabbit, squirrel, kangaroo rate etc. are found here. In the survey conducted in 1890, it was told that there are 78 types of birds in it. Today it has been made a very delightful place for tourists.
