World's largest Vedic temple to be ready in West Bengal by 2024

The world's largest Vedic temple is being built at the headquarters of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) at Mayapur in Nadia district of West Bengal. The construction of this temple is likely to be completed in the year 2024.

The world's largest Vedic Taramandal Mandir is expected to cost $100 million (about Rs 80
crore). When it is completed, it will replace Cambodia's 400-acre large Angkor Wat temple complex as the world's largest Vedic temple.

Apart from being the largest religious monument in the world, it will also have the largest dome and will serve as the headquarters of ISKCON, the temple of the
Taramandal Mandir in West Bengal.
The Vedic Taramandal will take the guests to different parts of the cosmic creation.

In this, information will be given about various aspects related to the universe and people will be made aware about the Vedic culture. It will be bigger than the Taj Mahal in Agra and St. Paul's Cathedral in the Vatican.

The construction of the temple is getting delayed due to the corona pandemic. Its construction was to be completed two years ago, but now it seems that its construction may be completed by the year 2024, although there may be a slight delay in its construction.

Presently the construction work is going on. Vedic Taramandal Mandir is being constructed by keeping the ideals of ISKCON founder Prabhupada in cognizance. It is inspired by the design of the US Capitol building.
