Yunqing Tang to receive SASTRA Ramanujan Prize 2022

 The SASTRA Ramanujan Prize for the year 2022 will be presented to Yunqing Tang, an assistant professor at the University of California. She will be given this Prize for her outstanding contribution in the field of mathematics.

 The Prize will be presented at the International Conference on Number Theory at the University of SASTRA during 20-22 December 2022. Yunqing Tang is born in China and in 2011 she completed her B.Sc at Peking University.

 After which she went to Harvard University for higher studies and joined UC Berkeley as an assistant.professor in July 2022.

SASTRA Ramanujan Prize

 The Prize was instituted by Shanmugha Academy of Arts, Science, Technology and Research (SASTRA) in 2005. It carries a cash prize of $10,000. The Prize is given annually to a person who is 32 years of age or younger, as at the age of 32 Ramanujan had died.
