ONGC becomes India's first PSU to get USA's Anti-Bribery Management Certificate
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) recently created history by becoming India's first Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) to
receive Intercert USA's ISO 37001:2016 International Standard Certificate for its Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS).
ONGC's commitment to combating bribery was first demonstrated in 2005 when it became the first organization in India to adopt the Integrity Pact (IP) initiated by Transparency International.
To ensure the effectiveness of the ABMS, ONGC has appointed dedicated personnel to oversee anti-bribery compliance. Chief Vigilance Officer Ranjan Prakash Thakur and heads of corporate departments are actively involved in the process.
The organization, in association with the internationally renowned consultancy firm Digital Age, has taken comprehensive measures to prevent, detect and address bribery.
