Indian 'INS Sunayna' participated in Joint Marine Force Practice 'Operation Southern Ready - 2023'
The Indian ship 'INS Sunayna' was in Seychelles, Mauritius from 10-12 July 2023 to participate in 'Operation Southern Ready 2023' organized by Joint Marine Force (CMF). This joint maritime force practice is a biennial exercise.
It is a multinational initiative that aims to compete with piracy to increase marine security, safety, and navigation freedom in the region. During this visit, the United States, Italy, Britain, Seychelles Defense Forces, and Member Countries of Marine Police, Eunavfor participated.
CMF Commander US Navy Vice Admiral and Deputy Commander United Kingdom Royal Navy Comodore are located in Bahrain. CMF has 38 member countries.
