Haryana won the 6th Youth Women's National Boxing Championship


 Defending champions Haryana retained the Women's Youth Boxing National Championship by winning 9 medals including 8 gold on 2nd July 2023 at Tantya Tope Stadium, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Haryana put up a great show on the final day and all their 8 finalists won gold medals. Haryana topped the table with 63 points, 8 gold, and 1 bronze medal.

 Gold medal winners for Haryana - Bhavna Sharma (48kg), Anshu (50kg), Mohini (52kg), Tanu (54kg), Priya (57kg), Pranjal Yadav (70kg), Muskan (75kg) ) and Kirti (81+kg).

 The first Youth Women's National Boxing Championship was held in New Delhi from 16–22 January 2017, which was also won by Haryana.

 Most promising boxer - Anjali Singh of Madhya Pradesh.

 Uttarakhand and Delhi secured the second and third positions with 32 and 20 points respectively. Under the leadership of 2-time Asian junior champion Nikita Chand, Uttarakhand won 3 gold and 1 silver medal. Delhi ended their campaign with 3 silver and 1 bronze medal.
