Aleph Aeronautics' Model A becomes the world's first electric flying car approved by the USA government


 The flying car 'Model A' developed by Alef Aeronautics has become the world's first flying car to get approval from the US government.
It has received special airworthiness certification from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

 The company is actively working on FAA Electrical Vertical Takeoff and Landing (EVTOL) vehicles as well as EVTOL and ground infrastructure, the company said in its official statement.

 The company was founded in 2015 by Dukhovny, Konstantin Kisly, Pavel Markin, and Oleg Petrov in Palo Alto, California.

 'Model A'


 Aleph Aeronautics built its first prototype in 2016. Has been testing its prototype since 2019. The company claims the Model A has a driving range of 200 miles and a flying range of up to 110 miles.

 Additionally, the company revealed that sales of the $300,000 model will begin in October 2022 and that it has already received over 440 reservations by the end of that year.

 In addition, the company is planning a four-person sedan called the Model Z, which will launch in 2035 with a starting price of $35,000. The Model Z is expected to have a flying range of over 300 miles and a driving range of over 200 miles.
