The World Green Economy Summit (WGES) has been organized from 28 to 29 September 2022. This is the 8th edition of this Summit. The event has been held at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC). It is organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), the World Green Economy Organization (WGEO) and the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.
It focuses on the four key pillars of a green economy: energy, finance, food security and youth. This summit is based on the theme Climate action leadership through collaboration: the roadmap to net- zero.
A ministerial round table showcasing the green economy was also held which was attended by 25 ministers and officials from around the world.
