Subedar Major Yogendra Singh Yadav's autobiography 'The Hero of Tiger Hill' was published

A new book titled 'The Hero of Tiger Hill' tells the inspiring story of Subedar Major (Honorary Captain) Yogendra Singh Yadav, the youngest recipient of India's highest gallantry award Param Vir Chakra.

The autobiography published by Srishti Publishers is the true story of a brave soldier who fought bravely leaving no stone unturned for the honor of India.

On the night of July 03, 1999, 19 year old 'Grenadier' Yogendra Singh Yadav was assigned a very important task to recapture the impregnable Tiger Hill with a lethal platoon of 18 'Grenadiers' Regiment, which he successfully carried out.

For this he was awarded Param VirnChakra, India's highest gallantry award at the young age (19 years).

Subedar Major Yadav has told that my aim of writing the book is to inspire the youth of India and to create a sense of patriotism. I hope that my book will inspire more and more readers to serve the nation in one way or another.
