Mohammed bin Salman appointed as new Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia

 In September 2022, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz in Saudi Arabia named his son and successor Prince Mohammed bin Salman as prime minister. According to a royal decree, King Salman has made his second son Prince Khalid the Defense Minister from Deputy Defense Minister.

 Shah, 86, will continue to preside over the cabinet meetings. Salman bin Abdul Aziz is going unwell these days and has been admitted to the hospital several times. Prince Mohammed bin Salman was earlier the Defense Minister.

 Saudi Arabia is called the holy place because of the two mosques of Islam, there are two holy mosques named Al Masjid Al Haram in Mecca and Al Masjid un Nabawi in Medina.

 The total population of Saudi Arabia is about 287 million in which 20 million are natives of Saudi Arabia while 8 million are foreigners. The official language of Saudi Arabia is Arabic.

 Petrol was discovered on 3 March 1938 in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia's fortunes changed completely after the discovery of oil. From a barren and desolate country it turned into a glittering country. Saudi Arabia has become the world's largest oil producer.
