Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest
earning athlete in the world
Cristiano Ronaldo has topped the
Forbes list of the world's highest-
paid athletes. His good earnings in
Saudi Arabia have brought him to
this position for the fourth time.
According to Forbes, Ronaldo
earned an astonishing $260 million
in the past year. This figure
includes $200 million from his
contract with Saudi club Al-Nassr
and an additional $60 million from
off-field activities.
Following Ronaldo on the Forbes
list is golfer Jon Rahm, who earned
$218 million primarily through his
contract with the Saudi-backed LIV
Golf Tour.
Lionel Messi, now with Inter Miami,
is in third place with $135 million in
earnings. More than half of Messi's
income, $70 million, comes from
off-the-field ventures.
For the first time, the top 10
highest-paid athletes have each
surpassed $100 million in earnings,
collectively reaching a record $1.38
billion.
This is the first time since 2019 that
no woman has been able to rank.
Historically, only Serena Williams,
Maria Sharapova, Li Na and Naomi
Osaka have made the top 50 since
2012.

Mukesh Ambani is at 12th place in
this list with assets of $110 billion.
Gautam Adani is ranked 14th in the
list with a net worth of $100 billion.
France's Bettencourt Meyers and
owner of the famous L'Oreal
company became the first woman
to have a net worth of $100 billion.
Mexico's Carlos Slim joined the list
for the first time and was ranked
13th with a net worth of $106
billion. He is the richest man in
South America.
Bernard Arnault, founder and CEO
of LVMH, remains the world's
richest person with a net worth of
$222 billion.
Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon
company, has been ranked as the
second richest man on earth with a
net worth of $208 billion.
Tesla company CEO Elon Musk has
a net worth of $187 billion and is at
third position in the list.
