Power Minister R.K. Singh inaugurated the first International Green Hydrogen Conference in New Delhi
Power Minister R.K. Singh has inaugurated the first international conference to discuss the progress and emerging technologies in the green hydrogen sector on 5 July 2023 in New Delhi.
The government of India is organizing an International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH-2023) from 5 to 7 July 2023 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi to bring together global scientific, policy, academic, and industrial leaders.
The conference is being organized by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry.
Apart from domain-specific research interactions on hydrogen production, storage, distribution and downstream applications, the conference will also discuss green financing, human resource upskilling and startup initiatives in this area.
The conference will enable sharing and learning of international best practices in this area. This mission launched by the Government of India to help India achieve its net zero goal by the year 2070.
