India's first Vedic theme park 'Ved Van Park' inaugurated in Noida
Known as Ved Van Park, this place is home to more than 50,000 plants like banyan, kalpavriksha and coconut, which have been mentioned in Vedic literature. Construction of the park began in January 2021, and reports state that the park now stands on what used to be a dump yard.
Reportedly built with a budget of Rs 27 crore, the park displays a variety of attractions including laser and sound shows as well as wall paintings and sculptures depicting excerpts from the four Vedic literary works: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharva.
Vedic-Theme Park
The park is divided into seven zones, each named after a famous Vedic sage: Kashyapa, Agastya, Vishvamitra, Vashishtha, Atri, Gautama, and Bharadwaja.
In addition, the walls of the park are decorated with vivid paintings depicting scenes from the Vedas. It is also home to a gym and an amphitheater, both powered by solar power. In addition, visitors can attend lectures on a variety of topics including Vedic astrology, Ayurveda, and traditional Indian music.
Within the park, you'll find serene meditation gardens that provide an ideal place to practice yoga and find inner peace. The park also houses a Vedic Knowledge Centre, which serves as a central hub to delve into the depths of Vedic literature.
