India has the fourth most powerful army in the world in the Global Firepower Index 2023

 Global Firepower, a data website that monitors global defense information since 2006, has released the 'Global Firepower Index 2023', a list of 145 countries with the world's most powerful soldiers.

 These are evaluated on more than 60 factors. The GFP ranking is based on each country's potential combat capability to fight conventionally on land, sea, and in the air. It scores each country with categories ranging from the number of military units and financial status to logistical capabilities and geographic location. New countries have been included in 2023 – Belize, Benin, and Senegal.

 According to Global Firepower, the United States is the strongest military power in the world with a score of .0712. At the same time, Russia is in second place with .0714 points and China is in third place with .0722 points. India has retained its fourth position with a score of 0.1025.

 UK, South Korea, Pakistan, Japan, France, and Italy are also among the top 10 countries in the list of powerful armies. According to this list, the countries with the weakest military forces in the world include Bhutan, Benin, Moldova, and Somalia.

 South Korea remains in the sixth position as last year. Pakistan enters the top 10 in seventh place, and Japan and France, who were fifth and seventh last year, have moved up to eighth and ninth this year.

 At the same time, a total of 45 countries are included in the Annual Defense Review of Asian Military Power (2023). In Russia, China, India, and South Korea are in first, second, third, and fourth place respectively. At the same time, Bhutan and Nepal are in the last place.
