Maharashtra Ironmen won the first Premier Handball League


 Maharashtra Ironmen were crowned champions of the inaugural season of the Premier Handball League (PHL) after their 38-24 win against Golden Eagles Uttar Pradesh at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

 Maharashtra Ironmen defeated hosts Rajasthan Patriots to enter the final of the Premier Handball League. And the first match took place between the host Rajasthan Patriots and Maharashtra Ironman, in which Rajasthan Patriots was the winner. Igor Chiselyov and Jalal Kiyani were the top scorers for Maharashtra Ironmen with 11 goals each.

Major award

 Golden Ball - Sukhvir Singh Brar (102 goals) of Golden Eagles Uttar Pradesh.

 Golden Glove - Rahul TK of Telugu Talons (184 saves).

 Most Valuable Player - Maharashtra Ironman Igor Chiseliov and Uttar Pradesh's Sukhvir Singh Brar.

 The first season is scheduled to be held from 8 to 25 June 2023 at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Major Teams-
