Prime Minister Narendra Modi flags off the fourth Vande Bharat Express train between Una and New Delhi


 Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the country's fourth Vande Bharat Express train from Una Railway Station in Himachal Pradesh on October 13, 2022. Fourth Vande Bharat Express train will run between Una to New Delhi.

 Prior to this, three Vande Bharat Express trains are in operation in the country, first between New Delhi and Varanasi and second between New Delhi and Katra and third between Ahmadabad-Mumbai.

 The new high-speed Vande Bharat train achieved 0 to 100 km Per hour speed in just 52 seconds. The maximum speed of the new train is 180 kmph while the old Vande Bharat train has a maximum speed of 160 kmph. It is noteworthy that the Railways has set a target of producing 75 such trains by August 2023.
