Ramon Magsaysay Award 2022 Announced

 The winners of Ramon Magsaysay Award 2022 have been announced on August 31, 2022. This is the 64th edition of the Ramon Magsaysay Awards and is internationally known as the Nobel Prize in Asia. The awards will be presented on 30 November in Manila.

 Ramon Magsaysay Award

 

 It is Asia's highest honor which was instituted in the year 1957. It is named after Ramon Magsaysay, the third President of the Republic of the Philippines. The awards are given every year on 31st August, the birth anniversary of the former President.

 The award is managed by the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation. Vinoba Bhave was the first Indian to be awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award for the first time.
