Times Higher Education released the list of 'Best Young University-2023' in the world
Times Higher Education-THE's '2023 Young University Rankings' reveals the best universities under the age of 50, assessing their engagement with teaching, research, international outlook, and industry based on 13 performance indicators.
605 universities are included in the 2023 ranking, up from 539 in 2022. In addition, 358 institutions are listed with "reporter" status, meaning they provided data but did not meet our eligibility criteria to be ranked.
Hong Kong has the maximum number of three institutions in the top 10. Turkey is the most represented country with 47 institutions, followed by India with 45 institutions.
This year the number of regions shown in the table has increased from 74 last year to 78. Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Namibia are the latest additions.
