In this blog post, we will take a look at some of the upcoming new Maruti Suzuki cars that are expected to launch in India in 2023 and 2024.

One of the most anticipated launches from Maruti Suzuki is the Jimny, a compact and rugged SUV that has a cult following around the world. The Jimny was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo and received a lot of positive feedback from the Indian audience. Maruti Suzuki is reportedly working on a 5-door version of the Jimny that will be more suitable for the Indian market. The Jimny is likely to be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine that also powers the Brezza and the Ertiga. The Jimny will be sold through the NEXA channel and is expected to be priced around Rs. 12-15 lakh.

Another new car that Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch in India is a premium MPV that will be based on the Toyota Innova Hycross. This will be the first re-badged Toyota product from Maruti Suzuki under their partnership. The MPV will offer a spacious and comfortable cabin with seven or eight seats, along with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and multiple airbags. The MPV will be powered by a 2.4-liter diesel engine that produces 150PS and 343Nm of torque. The MPV will be sold through the NEXA channel and is expected to be priced around Rs. 20-25 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki is also working on a new 7-seater SUV that will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and MG Hector Plus. The SUV will be based on the same platform as the Ertiga and XL6 but will have a more aggressive and sporty design. The SUV will offer features like LED headlamps and tail lamps, a sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, and connected car technology. The SUV will be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology that produces 105PS and 138Nm of torque. The SUV will be sold through the Arena channel and is expected to be priced around Rs. 12-16 lakh.

Apart from these new models, Maruti Suzuki will also launch new-generation versions of its existing best-sellers like the Swift, Dzire, Baleno, and Ciaz. These cars will get updated styling, features, and engines to keep up with the changing customer preferences and market trends. Maruti Suzuki will also introduce its first electric car in India, which could be based on the Wagon R or the S-Presso.

Maruti Suzuki has a strong reputation for offering reliable, fuel-efficient, and affordable cars in India.
