Asmita Dorji of Jharkhand conquered Manaslu Mountain without oxygen

On October 10, 2022, Asmita Dorji of Jharkhand has created history by conquering the world's eighth highest mountain 'Manaslu' in Nepal without oxygen supplementation.

The Manaslu summit was organized by the Government of Nepal, in which Asmita Dorji has scaled the 8163 meter high mountain 'Manaslu' without oxygen supplementation. Asmita Dorji completed this summit after a difficult climb of almost 26 days.

Just four hours before Asmita Dorji, Baljeet Kaur of Himachal had completed this summit without oxygen. It is noteworthy that Asmita Dorji is a resident of Sonari Kadma Link Road in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand and she is currently working as Senior Instructor of Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF).

It is known that Asmita has gone on expeditions like Mount Everest before without oxygen supplement, but she could not complete the Everest summit. She had accomplished the height of 8749 meters during the Everest Expedition without oxygen supplementation.
