Arunachal Governor B.D. Mishra assumes additional charge as Governor of Meghalaya

 On October 04, 2022, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Brigadier (Retd) B.D. Mishra assumes additional charge as Governor of Meghalaya. The Acting Chief Justice of Meghalaya Justice Harnam Singh Thangkhiew has administered the oath of office to Mishra as the Governor of Meghalaya.

 Brigadier (Retd) B.D. Mishra, who served as the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, was given additional charge as the Governor of Meghalaya after Satya Pal Malik's tenure as the Governor of Meghalaya ended on October 4, 2022. CM Conrad Sangma said, waiting for his (B.D. Mishra) counsel and support to take the development of Meghalaya forward.
