World Coconut Day will be celebrated today

 Every year on 02 September, 'World Coconut Day' is celebrated all over the world. The main theme of this year is 'Growing Coconut for a Better Future and Life'. The purpose of celebrating Coconut Day is to raise awareness and highlight the importance of coconut production and to attract national and international attention in its context.

 All the coconut producing countries of Asia Pacific region celebrate the establishment day of International Coconut Community (ICC) i.e. 2nd September as World Coconut Day every year. ICC is an inter- governmental organization.

 State Level Center of the Board in Junagadh

 World is celebrating the 24th World Coconut Day on 02nd September, 2022. The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare will inaugurate this function in Junagadh (Gujarat). During this, the Agriculture Minister will inaugurate the 'State Level Center' of the Board at Bahumali Bhawan, Junagadh.
