James Anderson Becomes Highest Wicket Taking fast- bowler In International Cricket

 England's James Anderson has become the first fast bowler to complete 950 wickets in international cricket. With this, James Anderson has become the highest wicket-taking fast-bowlernin international cricket.

 He achieved this historic feat in the second Test against South Africa. He broke the record of Glenn McGrath of Australia (949 wickets).

 The most successful bowlers in international cricket is Sri Lankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan (1,347 wickets), late Australian spin great Shane Warne (1,001 wickets) and Indian spin great Anil Kumble (956 wickets).

 Anderson, who made his international debut in 2003, now has 951 wickets across formats at an average of 27.18. Of these, 664 wickets have come in Test cricket, Anderson's only playing format since 2015. He is the only fast bowler to take more than 600 Test wickets. In addition, Anderson has 269 ODI wickets, the most for England in the format.
