Mwaniki completed the race with a time of 28:15, while Kasait finished in 30:56, both demonstrating exceptional performance and endurance.

Kenyan Dominance and Notable Performances

In the men's category, Mwaniki finished ahead of his compatriot Hillary Chepkwoni, who recorded a time of 28:33. Despite their impressive times, neither could break the event record of 27:38, set by Geoffrey Kamworor in 2014. In the women's category, Lilian Kasait triumphed over 7.1 Immaculate Achol, who finished with a time of 31:17. Similarly, Kasait's time fell short of the event record of 30:35.
