Cricketer Jhulan Goswami was given farewell with 'Guard of Honor', retires from international cricket

 The legend of the Indian women's cricket team and fast Bowler Jhulan Goswami had entered the field to play the last international match of her career on September 24, 2022. When she came out to bat on the field then England players and umpire gave Jhulan a guard of honor.

 Jhulan Goswami started her international career as a fast bowler against England in 2002. At one point of time, she was the fastest bowler in international women's cricket. Jhulan Goswami, 39, has played 12 Tests, 203 ODIs and 68 T20Is for India and has taken 353 wickets across all formats.

 Of those, 253 wickets have come in ODIs where she is the highest wicket-taker in women's cricket. She is currently the only female cricketer to have more than 200 wickets to her name in ODIs. The Cricket Association of Bengal has announced that it plans to name a stand at the Eden Gardens Stadium, Kolkata after her name. Jhulan Goswami is from Bengal.
